Article: Two battle over Lindenhurst clerk position

Two candidates will seek election April 17 to the position of Lindenhurst Village Clerk.

Incumbent Village Clerk Donna Bauschke, who is running with the Lindenhurst Community Party, and challenger Patty Chybowski, a member of the Lindenhurst Choice Party, were asked what they would bring to the position and how they would help the village plan for the future.

Having served as village clerk for the past four years, Bauschke said she would bring to the board experience and knowledge of the village's most important projects, such as Village Green, the new fire station and the proposed Vista hospital.
