The Heritage YMCA Group will participate with 1,500 YMCA organizations nationwide in the 16th annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day on Saturday at its facilities in Aurora, Oswego and Naperville. The free event uses creative activities to encourage children and families to adopt behaviors that support a healthy lifestyle. Activities taking place during the day will include healthy lifestyle presentations, arts and crafts, game tournaments, fitness, and preschool class samplers, obstacle courses and family swim time.

Registration for summer and camp programs and free materials for parents with tips on raising healthy, active children will be available during the event.
