'Click it or ticket' campaign under way Police through June 3 will conduct daily seat beat checks at various locations in the city in an effort to catch and cite motorists and passengers not wearing a seat belt. The locations and hours of the checks will vary, according to a news release. There will be a zero-tolerance policy in effect at the checkpoints, police say. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, traffic crashes are the No. 1 cause of death for people between the ages of 4 and 34.
