For Lane Tech's Joshua Colon and Bryan Platt, the Chicago Public League-Chicago Catholic League All-Star Game at U.S. Cellular Field, Wednesday, June 27 was a bit of déjà vu. Much like the Indians, the Public League wound up losing a bizarre one-run game as the Catholic League rallied for a 4-3 victory.
"That's how it's been all year for us, tough one-run losses," Colon said. "But we just went out there and battled, played seven hard innings and we left it all on the field."
"It was pretty much what happened to us all season." Platt added.
With the score tied at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Platt took the mound for the second straight inning.
