William Hurtt Jr.

William "Bill" L. Hurtt Jr., 66, of Mount Prospect, formerly of Prospect Heights, died Aug. 19 in Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge.

Mr. Hurtt was the owner of B.J. Electric in Prospect Heights and an electrician from 1965 to 1995. He was a member of the Northwest Builders Association. He was actively involved for 35 years in the Sports Car Club of America. He served as scoutmaster and troop chairman for the Northwest Suburban Boy Scouts of America; was a tribal chief for Indian Guides and a sponsor of Prospect Heights Little League for 10 years.
