Maurice J. PigottMaurice J. Pigott, 83, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Winnetka, died Oct. 12 at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights. He was born in 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to Clinton and Teresa (née Ford) Pigott.

A memorial celebration honoring his life was held at Oct. 18 at Michigan Shores, 911 Michigan Ave., Wilmette. All those who knew and loved Maury and Paula Pigott attended the celebration. Internment was private.

Mr. Pigott started his career with American Can, and later National Can where he was an executive vice president and general manager before retiring in 1986. He later started a family company, Nucon Corp. of Deerfield, where he was chairman and chief ...
