GENEVA - Through the front windows, he would watch Colonial Ice Cream employees hand churn batches of ice cream.

It is one of the enduring memories 69-year-old Arthur "Skip" Chalupa has left.

Tasting Colonial's infamous Kitchen Sink sundae brought back those childhood memories. He ate the mammoth dessert - served in an actual kitchen sink - in 20 minutes, even scooping up the melted leftovers. It was his Heart's Desire, fulfilled by Arden Courts and Colonial Cafe on a recent Sunday afternoon.
