Virgil Vincent ClaryVirgil Vincent Clary, 78, of Winnetka, died Nov. 5 at Manor Care in Northbrook.
Mr. Clary was born in 1929 in Evanston to Michael Virgil and Marion (nee Burns) Clary. After graduating from New Trier High School, he joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 250, Lake County and went to work in the family business, North Shore Builders (later Virgil Clary, Inc.) in Winnetka. He oversaw the building of many North Shore homes and the Winnetka Presbyterian Church. There were also many remodeling projects and additions to St. Augustine Church in Wilmette and St. Mark Episcopal Church in Evanston, as well as Greely School in Winnetka and the gymnasium at Northeastern ...
