Double-Chocolate Rum Fruitcake Cookies Servings: 30 cookies

Start to finish: 1 hour

* 1 cup fruitcake mix

* 1/2 cup light rum

* 3 cups all-purpose flour

* 3/4 cup cocoa powder

* 1 teaspoon baking soda

* 1/2 teaspoon salt

* 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened

* 1/2 cup so ur cream

* 1 cup brown sugar

* 1/2 cup granulated sugar

* 2 eggs

* 1 teaspoon vanilla

* 111/2-ounce bag (2 cups) chocolate chips

In a small bowl, combine fruitcake mix and rum. Cover and let sit 30 minutes.
