Article: Memory loss program registration

The Southwest Suburban Center on Aging will again offer its popular 10-week Early Stage Memory Loss Program beginning next month. The once-a-week program is designed both for those experiencing memory loss and their loved ones.

The center's Social Service Director Louise Starmann said this is the fourth time the program has been offered, and enrollment has increased each cycle.

"Early stage memory loss seems to be something that people are becoming more and more aware of," Starmann said. "This program gives people the opportunity to process what memory loss means to them."
