Article: 'The Bucket List' ain't so bad

From my experience of goin' to the show all 12 months of the year, it

seems as though January is a critical dumping ground.

The holiday releases and Oscar nominees are still around, and the new

stuff oftentimes is among the worst reviewed movies of the year.

This does not mean they totally stink or they don't connect with an

audience. Case in point: "The Bucket List."

Your critical types universally trashed this as sentimental,

simple-minded, unbelievable and an insult to anybody facing terminal

cancer.

They also were harsh on stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman and

director Rob Reiner, who all were knocked for their input, output and

general all-around involvement.
