Without hard work invested in "making it," a band likely will go

nowhere.

Thanks largely to its DIY attitude, Eyes Set to Kill is making a name

for itself.

From booking its first tour through Internet juggernaut MySpace.com

to marketing the band through SmartPunk.com, the band is making its

mark.

Vocalist and keyboardist Brandon Anderson attributes the band's buzz

to the opportunities the Internet offers bands.

"It's so much easier to promote music now," he said via cell phone

just before playing a recent gig in New Jersey.
