The Dog Pound was filled close to capacity on Friday night in anticipation of Evanston's annual visit to Waukegan to square off against its Central Suburban League South Division rival.

hoping for a few smiles after losing in double-overtime in Indiana 24

hours earlier.

But instead of excitement, cheering and a nail-biting game, what the

fans in attendance got instead was a dud.

Evanston laid less of an egg in the contest, so the Wildkits (23-2

overall, 9-0 in the CSL South) were able to come away with a 45-32

victory in a game which was ripe for the picking for the Bulldogs

(10-9, 4-4).

Waukegan could manage only 11 ...
