More than 60 million Americans have high blood pressure, but only about 30 percent of them even know it.

So with New Year's just past, you might consider making a simple resolution to get your blood pressure under control if it's too high.

A good place to start is at the American Heart Association Web site, (www.americanheart.org) which calculates your blood pressure health risk. Enter your age, gender, height, weight and blood pressure numbers, and the site will calculate your risk of heart attack, stroke, heart failure and kidney disease.
