Violet E. RossViolett E. Ross, (nee Hoffmann), 72, of Highland Park, formerly of Skokie, died March 13 in Manor Care of Highland Park.

She was born Oct. 11, 1935 in Evanston to Nicholas and Cecelia Hoffman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sr.

She is survived by her children, Eugene Jr. "Guy" (Clare), Nicholas and Wayne (Debbie); three grandchildren; siblings, Patricia (Joseph) Murphy, of Morton Grove, Richard Hoffmann of Morton Grove, Fern (Donald) Dobrowski and Peter Hoffmann; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held April 26, at noon, at Haben Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Road, Skokie.
