VALPARAISO Home, cars vandalized on northwest side

Large rocks were used in a number of acts of vandalism in the northwest part of the city early Saturday.

A rock was thrown through a living room window in the 3800 block of Farmdale.

At least five vehicles in the neighborhood, and a sixth just outside the city limits, also had windows damaged early Saturday morning. In cases where resident heard shattering glass or voices, the incidents occurred between 1:30 and 4:30 a.m. The total damages are estimated at $4,575.

A gold, four-door passenger car, possibly a Toyota Camry or Corolla, may have been involved. According to police ...
