By Pat Disabato Staff Writer After dropping a 3-2 decision to Loyola Academy on Monday, Brother Rice coach Tim Lyons decided on a pitching-by-committee strategy in the rematch Wednesday. And while the Crusaders defense made that strategy appear shaky by committing three costly errors, Lyons' decision proved wise in the end. Brother Rice pounded out 15 hits and five different pitchers held off a determined Loyola squad during an 11-7 Catholic League Blue victory in Chicago. The win allowed the Crusaders to match Loyola with a 5-1 mark in league play. "It was a big win for us," said Lyons, whose Crusaders are 17-3 overall. "You don't want to lose both games to them."
