Two-and-a-half weeks after Trustee Steve Riess expressed concerns about documented meeting minutes and voted against the approval of several special meeting minutes from 2007, the Hawthorn Woods Village Board voted to approve the minutes of 15 special meetings from 2007 in his absence.
At a May 8 special meeting, Trustees Greg Gehrke and Jim Silvers voted to approve the minutes; Trustee Joanne Weick voted against approving the minutes; Trustee Neil Morgan abstained; Riess and Trustee Cliff Wright were absent; and Mayor Keith Hunt voted to approve the minutes.
