Park Ridge alderman David Schmidt has accused the City Council of directing an applicant to falsify a building application to bypass the city's zoning ordinance.
Attorney Jack Owens represents a client who is in the process of purchasing three buildings in the Renaissance Office Plaza. Owens sought help from the City Council this week to allow orthopedic and physical therapy offices to operate in the plaza so his clients could move in by Sept. 1. Under the city's new zoning ordinance, medical offices are not allowed outside the designated hospital district.
