Illinoisans will celebrate one of our grandest outdoors traditions during Illinois Free Fishing Days from June 6-9.
"Free Fishing Days allows anyone to fish without the need for a fishing license, inland trout stamp or salmon stamp during the four-day event," Illinois Department of Natural Resources acting director Sam Flood said. "Kids and families love to fish, and Free Fishing Days is a great way for anyone interested in fishing to wet a line and experience the fun of fishing."
