By David Schwab staff writer A myriad of fuel-dependent businesses in the Southland are feeling the stress of rising gas prices on their bottom lines. But how different businesses - ranging from trucking companies to pizza delivery joints to landscapers - are dealing with these rising costs differs greatly. At A&M Cartage, a trucking outfit in Mokena, the gas price hike has resulted in downsizing. "We can't keep up with the fuel," owner August Badali said. This means running fewer trucking routes, which in turn employs fewer drivers.
