Everything is related for Winnetka's Leigh Thompson. That includes her three major titles: USA National Champion Cyclist, Dr. Thompson of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and mother of three.
"There are three big things in my life," Thompson said. "My family, working at the Kellogg School and cycling. Having those three things in my life has been the best thing in the world."
Thompson, who teaches negotiation, decision-making and team performance at Northwestern, recently won the USA Cycling Masters Time Trial National Championship. The time trial or "race of truth," is a 39-kilometer sprint up rolly terrain. Thompson was clocked in at 58:15, winning the gold and the ...
