Dear Dog Lady: My husband and I started taking our Boston terrier to a dog park earlier this summer and she really loved the chance to run off-leash. On one of our visits, she crouched down, did a little dance with her front paws and chased another dog who is just a bit smaller. We were delighted to see her socializing. She and the other dog chased each other around for a few minutes until the other dog decided she was done. We called our dog to us so she'd leave the other dog alone and the other dog's owner nearly threw a fit. The woman told us our dog was "coming after" her dog. She picked her dog up to "comfort" her. The dog didn't even seem particularly scared.
I just can't understand ...
