Article: CTA describes benefits of extending Yellow Line

Extending Skokie Swift's Yellow Line from its Dempster Street station north to Old Orchard Road would bring several benefits to the community, according to a preliminary study conducted by the CTA.

That study recommended either a bus or a bus/rail option for additional transportation that could take people to and from an area near Westfield Old Orchard, Rush North Shore Medical Center, Skokie's Cook County courthouse and other well-traveled locations.
