More than 100 mothers gathered at Christ Church of Oak Brook Wednesday to make new acquaintances, reconnect with old friends and maybe learn a little something about how to make their job easier.
The 10th season of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) at Christ Church began Sept. 3 with a talk by authors and radio hosts John and Kendra Smiley. They presented, Do Your Kids a Favor, Love Your Spouse, at the first of 14 meetings on the 2008-2009 MOPS agenda.
