Corn Products posts record per-share profit Corn Products International Inc. said it earned $88 million, or a record $1.15 per diluted share, in the third quarter compared with a profit of $51 million, or 66 cents per share, for the same period in 2007. The Westchester-based corn refiner said net sales for the quarter rose 24 percent, to $1.08 billion compared with $877 million in the year-earlier period. The company's largest plant is in Bedford Park.
