By John K. Ryan Staff Writer A Cook County judge involved in a traffic accident in Homewood Wednesday morning did not appear to practice much judicial restraint.
Judge Marcella Lipinski, of Homewood, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident near the intersection of 175th Street and Dixie Highway. Nicole Vinci, of Flossmoor, said she was trying to go west out of a Mobil gas station but eastbound traffic was stopped for a red light at the intersection and was preventing her from pulling out onto 175th Street. Cars waiting backed up or pulled forward enough to allow Vinci, trying to get her four children to school, to maneuver through the eastbound lanes and head west. "Then ...
