The Mount Prospect Historical Society has released its third annual calendar, which features "then-and-now" views of the village.

From a "wide spot in the road" rural farm community to a modern suburb, the shots contained in the calendar are recommended for people nostalgic for village history. Photos of such village institutions as Randhurst, Mount Prospect Public Library, St. John's Lutheran Church and the Central School, illustrate where Mount Prospect has been and where it's going.
