Fox Home Center never closed after a fire destroyed most of the business at 11150 S. Cicero Ave. in Alsip in May 2007. But workers are happy now that a new building, complete with an enclosed, drive-through lumber yard, has opened. The home center's showroom features a cut-away, two-story home and deck display with an outdoor kitchen and pergola. Fox now showcases 40 kitchens and more than 50 bathroom displays by Haas, Legacy, Bertch, Ultracraft, Decolav, Kohler, Moen and others. The showroom is open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. The phone number is (708) 636-3500.
