Park Ridge residents and business owners will have an opportunity on Jan. 27 to comment on a conceptual plan developed to guide future development along Higgins Road in Park Ridge.
A public hearing on the plan will take place before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 7:30 p.m. at Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place. If the commission supports the plan, it will go on to the City Council for adoption into the city's 1996 comprehensive plan.
Commission members got a first look at a draft of the Higgins Road Corridor Plan, developed by Camiros, Ltd. and Valerie S. Kretchmer Associates, Inc., on Dec. 8. A copy of the plan can be downloaded from the city's web site, www.parkridge.us under the ...
