The Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation -- an organization established to honor the memory of Edgebrook resident Hank Schueler, who passed away Dec. 14, 2007 from complications of leukemia -- presented St. Patrick High School with a $100,000 endowment on Dec. 8 to establish the Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation Memorial Scholarship.
A prayer service attended by Hank's family and friends followed an all-school mass held for the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Matt Schueler, Hank's father, and Scott Rafferty, the foundation's vice president and one of Hank's former coaches, addressed the student body during the mass.
