East Aurora forward William Brown drove to the hoop with under a minute to go in overtime, his team down by one to Neuqua Valley.
With the defense swarming, he dished the ball out to a cutting Jamario Taylor who laid it up and in, drawing a foul in the process to give the Tomcats a 71-70 lead with just under 40 seconds to go.
"When Will (Brown) was penetrating, I saw him stop - the defense came to help," said Taylor. "When (Brown) was looking I was like, 'Man, I've got to get this for the team.'
"He gave it to me, I went up thinking I've got to finish, made sure I got the body contact and put it in. I've got to put this basket in though, because we've got to win this."
