On an absolutely beautiful day for golf at Sandy Pines Golf Course, it was Twin Lakes continuing its streak of titles. Twin Lakes captured the Kankakee Valley Sectional trophy and will advance -- along with Lowell and Crown Point -- to next Saturday's LaPorte Regional.

Twin Lakes won its 11th straight sectional title on solid performances from the entire team.

Though challenged with a disqualification, they were able to still hold on to the sectional title.

In a bit of controversy, one of the Twin Lakes players asked for a ruling on the placement of a ball and was informed by a coach that she was fine.

That was not the case, as it was determined through the rules that she should have ...
