Celebrating the New Year is a time of reflection, thinking and praying for my family and me. Also, we think about those New Year's resolutions and goals that we made last year and ask ourselves did we accomplish what we vowed to do. This year, my family and I plan on welcoming in the New Year by doing some reflection on how we felt this past year has gone for us. Our reflection represents our appreciation of seeing another year.
Instead of doing the more secular traditions like hanging out with friends and going to parties, my family and I attend a Watch Night celebration at my church. I pray in the New Year with my family and others. Watch Night service is a special service held the night ...
