Article: Liquor store for Lincoln Avenue comes with 'high-end' provisos

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, and taste -- or quality -- may indeed be subjective. Despite that, Lincolnwood village trustees spent a significant modicum of time last Thursday debating just what makes a liquor store "upscale."

They ultimately approved legal language for a special use zoning permit that will allow the owners of the Lincolnwood Commons shopping center, 6921-33 Lincoln Ave., and businessman Tushar Kavagia, to open a 4,450-square-foot liquor operation in the center.
