Despite the struggling economy, business at Gurnee's KeyLime Cove Water Resort is good.
During the holiday season, the resort was sold out for 19 days straight, said Marketing Manger Jennifer Evans. The resort also hosted a sold out beach bash New Year's Eve.
"Once the kids are out of school we have a full house," said Evans.
This weekend is on the verge of selling out due to Monday's holiday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
"We have less than 30 rooms left for Saturday," said Evans, noting the rest of this weekend is booked solid.
