Geneva will play 'Name that Plaza'

The city of Geneva will hold a contest to name the new public plaza at Third Street and Crescent Place. Mayor Kevin Burns last week announced the contest for the plaza, which is part of the final Dodson Place building under construction on the west side of Third Street, between Crescent and South streets. The public plaza will be on about 2,750 square feet, just across from the Geneva Train Depot. The land was swapped by developer Shodeen Inc. to the city in return for parking considerations for Dodson Place. Entry forms for the contest are on the city's Web site, or at any city facilities.
