U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh, U.S. Rep. Peter Visclosky and Gov. Mitch Daniels will be on hand Friday at the dedication ceremony for the new Indiana National Guard facility. The ribbon-cutting for the Gary Limited Army Aviation Support Facility will be at 10 a.m. at Gary/Chicago International Airport, 6289 W. Industrial Highway.

Construction of the 56,000-square-foot aviation facility took nearly four years. It was completed in September at a cost of $18.7 million.

The facility will have 22 full-time employees, and will house three UH-60 Blackhawk ...
