Warren Gilligan "Bud" Warren "Bud" Gilligan, age 79 of Geneva, passed away at his home Thursday, January 15, 2009 with his family and friends present. Bud was born July 19, 1929 in Newburgh, NY, graduated from Fordham University and subsequently served in the Army during the Korean War. After the war, he worked as an executive for General Motors Chevrolet Division for 35 years. Bud and his family moved to Geneva in 1976, where he eventually retired, and remained active in the community for many years. He was founder of the Geneva Academic Foundation at which time he made a personal guarantee for the first $100,000 that was raised. He served as an alderman in Geneva, was a CASA ...
