Is there room and interest enough to squeeze another youth football team between Zion and its Jr. Zee-Bees and Waukegan and its Chiefs?

Wadsworth's Ismael Claudio, who created and runs the 5-year-old Lake County Blitz youth football training camps, thinks so.

Toward that end, he's created the new Beach Park Bears youth football organization, registration for which will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Murphy School, 11315 W. Wadsworth Road. Players should be present at registration for weigh-ins. Cost is $250.
