The idea of opening or expanding a business given today's economic climate might seem like a recipe for disaster. But some entrepreneurs in Naperville think the risk is worth the long-term reward.
For instance, Naperville resident Stuart Jacover and his partner Brian Ritchey left their former work in corporate America and launched R&J Midwest Equipment Inc. in Elk Grove last September.
It was an effort, Jacover, 41, said, "to fill the niche in the market that has been created by so many businesses retrenching and cutting back on the service they are providing to their customers."
