Black history seminar
Twenty-four students and three teachers from Bolingbrook High School were selected to attend "High Energy.High Ambitions," a daylong career exploration program at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia on Feb. 18.
Students will tour the 6,800-acre campus and learn about high energy physics and/or particle physics research being done at the lab. In addition, minority administrative, technical, engineering, scientific and computer professionals will hold a career exploration forum for the attendees.
The day's activities are part of Fermilab's celebration of Black History Month.
