Joliet Area Community Hospice, a community-based, not-for-profit hospice provider, has been privileged to provide compassionate end-of-life care to more than 15,000 patients and families since 1982.
As part of its mission to meet the needs of its patients, its dedicated team of more than 140 staff and 250 volunteers care for individuals in Will, Grundy, and Kendall counties, in addition to portions of DuPage and Cook counties.
Its expanded service area allows better access to hospice services for patients and families wherever home is: their own private home, nursing homes or assisted living centers in those areas.
Hospice is not a specific place but a philosophy of care.
