Following a trend set by the Bears and Bulls, the Blackhawks announced Thursday they will not increase season-ticket prices for the 2009-10 season.
The Bears said in February they would hold the line on 2009 ticket prices, and the Bulls advised season-ticket holders two weeks ago that prices wouldn't increase next season.
The Hawks have sold out all 30 home games this season and have a string of 33 consecutive sellouts dating to last season. They lead the NHL with an average attendance of 22,395 and are on pace to pass the franchise record of 835,977, set in 1995-96.
