Employee confidence improves in January The Illinois Employee Confidence Index increased 2.6 points to 40.6 in January, according to the latest Spherion Employment Report, a monthly survey of Illinois workers released Monday. The reports indicates that more workers feel that they are unlikely to lose their jobs, and more feel confident in the future of their current employer as well.
