Article: Sewer line seen to spur construction

Plans are under way to extend a sewer line in Homer Glen from Cedar to Gougar roads, a move that village officials said will help jumpstart business growth.

A feasibility study approved by the village board last week will recommend the easiest and least expensive route for the sewer line, which would run near Fiddyment Creek and through the Will County Forest Preserve between 151st and 159th streets. The study, which will cost no more than $17,000, should be complete by mid-March.
