By Becky Schlikerman staff writer Political jockeying has already begun for who will replace departing Chicago Heights Mayor Anthony DeLuca. The Chicago Heights City Council will choose a replacement from among its members to serve as acting mayor for the final two years of DeLuca's mayoral term, city attorney TJ Somer said. Aldermen Joseph Faso (4th) and Lisa Aprati (5th) both said they want to succeed DeLuca, who was appointed to the Illinois House of Representatives last week. Ald. Alex Lopez (2nd), who is also the Chicago Heights Park District superintendent, said he's considering throwing his hat into the ring for the seat but hasn't decided yet. Ald.
