Article: A brand new beef with Steak 'n Shake

A guy goes in to a Steak 'n Shake restaurant in Florida recently and sees an advertising poster proclaiming: "Best burger chain in the country -- Chicago Sun-Times." He lets me know.

The guy knew. He also knew what was wrong with this picture.

Steak 'n Shake is running a national ad campaign based on an endorsement from a guy working at a newspaper in a city where he can't even buy a double steakburger -- with or without cheese -- unless he's prepared to drive to the suburbs to get it.

That's not right.

What if Americans knew? Would they feel duped? Would they be angry? Would they say: What does the Sun-Times know?
