A 28-year-old Glenview man, a 26-year-old Elmwood Park woman and a 34-year-old Bellwood woman are among 13 probable cases of H1N1, or swine, influenza reported in suburban Cook County.
The Cook County Department of Public Health Monday reported 11 new probable cases of the flu, bringing the total suburban Cook County count to 13.
Included in that count was a probable case involving a 12-year-old Des Plaines boy. For that reason, the department recommended that Algonquin Middle School in Des Plaines be closed for seven days.
