Article: United Methodist commits to restoring log cabin

Marjorie Howard makes no bones about it: She became a member of United Methodist Church in Skokie a few years ago specifically because of its unique log cabin.

"I was working here in Skokie and I drove by and happened to see the sign for United Methodist Church," she said. "I love home log fixtures, and as soon I saw this, I made the decision I had to attend that following Sunday. This log cabin really is what drew me to this church."
